The 4th Week

In the blink of an eye, I’ve been here for almost a month! Time really flies when you’re having fun. Anyway, here’s a few pictures to sum up the past 3 weeks:

Chinatown in Liverpool probably has the largest arch outside of China. This arch though, hides the fact that Chinatown in Liverpool is just half a block of Chinese eateries, a Chinese Gospel Church and a Chinese supermarket round the corner.
St. Lukes Church. This church was badly damaged during WWII.

Got a little preview of what’s awaiting us at Scotland too! Picture taken at Lord Mayor’s Parade, just in front of Marybone.

St. Nicholas Church, which is right opposite the Liver Building.

We took an underground train to get to Birkenhead, which is across the river Mersey. Since the train needed to cross a river, it was pretty deep under. It’s like taking the Dang Wangi LRT escalator, 3 times!
Moving right along, Lai Kuan came by for dinner yesterday. So of course, a guest meant special dinner – bak kut teh!! Why else do you think is everyone smiling?
