Klo-Ee-Lin - Pt 2
Posted by Jonathan Ng | Filed under Personal
A couple of weeks back, Klo-Ee asked me to join her on a day trip to Melaka on Prophet’s birthday. It was a public holiday, so I thought, what the hell.
To my horror though, Vi King ffk (fly aeroplane in Canto) at the very last minute - leaving me to lamp post Klo-Ee and her boyfriend (who goes by a more normal name of Nicholas, as compared to Klo-Ee) for the whole friggin day.
First stop at Melaka was for breakfast. I had baba laksa, or something like that - basically laksa with a whole lot of coconut milk. The highlight of the day for me was the cendol!! Laced with durian, it’s the ultimate Malaysian dessert!

The Melaka trip was basically a eating + photo-snapping outing. So we just walked around the usual tourist spots around Melaka taking pics.

Well, at least they have “Jonker Street” in brackets below - no such thing in Ipoh, the roads are all renamed to ridiculously long malay names that are so hard to remember..

Managed to get this picture of a bee with the kit lens! Not too bad eh? Hehe, Sony’s kit lens have a reach of 70mm as compared to 55mm on the Canon and Nikon :p
Pretty lazy to post those pics of the other famous tourist spots, kinda boring. Instead, I’ll post pics like the one below..

Sigh, some people just don’t have respect..
After a lunch of chicken rice (I don’t really get what’s the big deal with it, only difference is the rice is served in balls) we continued snapping.

I think I was using the 9 point autofocus mode for the picture above. Stupid autofocus failed! There was a beautiful, classic Mercedez-Benz on the left, but instead it focused on Klo-Ee =P

There was also supposed to be this other girl (who’s single XD) who’d be going too, but for some reason, bailed out. So Klo-Ee was saying how that girl would have whined all day, and that I didn’t complain at all walking around whole day.. never once complaining that it was hot, am thirsty or stuff like that. Hehe, mother got teach manners at home mar =P

Loch Ness Monster coming up to flash peace signs in this rare sighting…..

Seriously though, it wasn’t really that tiring walking around Melaka in slippers. Just a bit dulan sometimes when Nicholas lead us the wrong way while walking aroud Mahkota Parade. They’re surely nice folks to hang out with!
Oh, before I forget, the “Lin” in “Klo-Ee-Lin” comes from her chinese name, May Lynn. So you can either call her Klo-Ee, okay okay… Chloe, May or Lynn. But don’t you agree “Klo-Ee” sounds cuter??
Sadly, I doubt you’ll be seeing a Part 3 of this “Klo-Ee-Lin” series - she threatened to bite me! Cannot risk being exposed to potentially life-threatening bacterias, I’m too young to die.
