Stock is for Suckers!

It’s that time of the year again, when it’s PC Fair!! But seriously, there’s nothing much to PC Fair. There aren’t that many bargains anyway, just some marketing hype to get people into thinking it’s a “durian runtuh” kind of PC sales.

I did go to PC Fair anyway with my colleague, since I wanted to get a MP3 player. Besides, since I worked near Masjid Jamek, KLCC was just 2 stops away via LRT.

Before getting home with my precious MP3 player, I had dinner at Burger King. I don’t know if it’s because it’s been a long long time since i had McDonalds, but my dinner at Burger King was very, very satisfying. Though it’s a tad mor expensive that McD, but hey, it’s so much more better! It’s more filling too, McD only gives you a tiny burger that you have to struggle holding coz of it’s miniature size..

So here I am, back home, taking pictures of what I bought from my “shopping spree”:

Here’s the Sansa c250, a 2 GB mp3 player from SanDisk. I got that for RM 339. Yeah, it’s a horrible box shot..

The best thing is, they include a 1 GB microSD card that I can plug into my “lil monsta”..

I’m kinda confused with the way SanDisk markets their MP3 players.. they have this word “Sansa”, and “lil monsta”.. funny thing is, you don’t see the “lil monsta” word at their product page..

I kinda fell victim for the saying “stock is for suckers“.. I bought myself a Philips earphones to replace the stock ones..

Unlike my other Philips headphones, it’s pretty high on the treble, and I can only hear the bass if I stick the earphones deep into my ear. Problem is, the earphones don’t stay deep enough into my ears, and I can hardly hear the bass.. arghh.. what a waste of money! So if you plan on getting new earphones to replace your stock earphones, get those in-ear type. The reason why it’s designed that way is so that the bass can resonate into your ear drums..

Sigh, 1 wrong purchase… but at least the bulk of my moeny went into something sexy:

    Kakoii! Finally you got yourself an MP3 player. Erm, why didn’t you get an MP4 instead? Then you can enjoy porn while waiting for your transport. Muahaha! Just kidding dude.

    For your earpieces, did you put on the cottons? I think it will help to increase the bass volume. Happy trying!

    Yeah, I put the cottons thing so that it can cling deeper into my ears.. don’t feel any difference with the base though..
