Vista Application Incompatibility: Even Zune!

This is simply hilarious, Windows Vista is not supported by Microsoft’s own iPod killer: Zune. Complete article at AppleInsider.

It also turns out that quite a number of other applications don’t work in Vista. Windows Live Messenger is reported to crash after a few hours. And worst news of all, Visual Studio 2002 and 2003 won’t work in Vista. VS.Net 2005 has some compatibility issues, but I guess it’s fine then. Heh, Visual Studio 6 still works..

but then i thought MS not supporting apps written using VS.NET2002 and 2003 anymore, so what is the point making them to work under vista?
but AFAIK, apps written using VS2005 and VS6 are still supported in vista, so this implies that they are still supported?
VS6 is still supported because there are still many existing VS6 developer and they are very very (please loop this “very” for me indefinitely) good in VB6

but this is not the first time microsoft making their product not upward compatible… try opening ur office doc written using office 97 with Office 2003… muahahahaha
