Blame it on Luck, or Blame it on Myself?

What do you do when your colleague gets assigned with an easier task, with more available documentation? What do you do when by the stroke of luck, the methods he tries out for programming projects, happens to work? Do you blame it on luck, or blame it on yourself?

Life sucks. It sucks even harder when your boss is solely result oriented. Heck, my boss wouldn’t care if you killed someone to finish a task.

Do you console yourself? Do you push yourself even harder?

As far as I’m concerned, my internship is already over, even though there’s 3 weeks left. I made a lot of mistakes throughout my internship, and like our CIO said, there’s so many things I would have done differently, if I had the chance to turn back time.

I do wonder if I think too far away at times, or am I even thinking at the right direction. The things I do, seems so random.. sigh.. another rant post..

Internship is the time for you to make mistakes. That is the main purpose of having internships!! Yes, what CIO said is true, but you’ll never knew HOW you can do something differently until you have made the mistakes. There and then is where and how you’ll learnt! By making mistakes!! No one is perfect. Some people just happens to have the talent; Some needs to put much efforts on their work. So, just put a lot more effort for the rest of the 3 weeks. Fully utilise it! Treat these 3 weeks as the time/opportunity to do those things that you wish you would have did differently…. Apply all that you have learnt in your internship so far…. Show the right attitude towards performing your job (your internship haven’t end ler… you’re still on a job!! and also remember, your testimonial is still in their hands…hehe…). All the best to you…

p.s.: Don’t simply think of stuffs la. Don’t cry over spilt milk. What is done is done. Learn the lessons, get up and try again/like what you said, push yourself harder. Stay FOCUS on what you’re doing now. Your mindset is very very crutial!! Have the right mindset. If you think it’s not possible, you won’t have the drive/heart to continue already.
